I'm on a Journey?

All of us are on our own spiritual journey. And all of our personal spiritual journeys are connected. Yes, as much as some of us would like to think we are on our own, we are indelibly linked to the rest of humanity! Some people think our spiritual journeys are pre-destined and some think we work them out as we go. I doubt if any human can 100% prove it either way. And since we'll never "really" know in our earth-forms, don't let it hang you up. It's just time to find out what you are about and live! To realize and live your personal journey is the highest form of living you could lead. So are you truly living your personal journey or are you merely inhabiting your earthly body?

Your rightful path is constantly presenting itself. Right here, right now. You always have a chance to jump on to it. No matter how far off track you get, there is always another entrance onto your rightful path. Sometimes it is hard to find. It can become a dilemma when the wrong path seems so big and bright that it obscures the right path. That brings up the point, how do you know which is the right path? Sometimes it is plain obvious. But other times you can reach a real fork in the road. Which path do I take?? You do know which path, you really do--your being knows. But if an immediate "answer" to your current "problem" does not appear, then maybe the answer has not been formed. So you need to choose the path which will help you discover your answer. Don't force an answer before it is time to reveal itself. Just remain on the path to the answer and you will discover it. In the meantime, learn and be patient. But realizing and remaining on your rightful path (even if an answer is not quite in your sight) is of utmost importance.

Opening yourself up to the Universal energy and knowledge is key to finding your direction. Opening up to the Universe entails breaking some of your bad habits. What bad habits you might ask? Just as an example, worrying is a bad habit that may constantly present itself. Part of the worrying cycle involves not living in the present. But besides that, we humans develop behavioral patterns (worrying) that we take for granted. Seemingly unpleasant habits can actually become very comfortable as we do them over and over again in our lives. How many of us live from crisis to crisis. As soon as one crisis is over, a new one swoops right in to take its place. The worry and obsessiveness is habitual. If you were to monitor your thoughts for a month, what would you learn? For a month, write down all your worries as you develop them and obsess about them. Then go back the next month and read your list and see how many of these worries are still of importance. You made them important at the time out of the habit of worrying.

Meditating or praying can be your way to clear your cluttered mind and set you on your rightful path and ultimately help you live your spiritual journey. It involves you and the Universe. Take some time and just be. What is so exciting is that you do know your own answers. The path to them is always there. It will present itself to you through your dying day. Sometimes it is a little dirt road and sometimes it is a four-lane highway. And please know that if you pick the wrong road, there is always another entrance to the right one. Never give up after a bad detour--just veer back on to the right path. There it is now!!

Tapping In

The energy in the Universe is there for the having.

First we have to REMEMBER that this Universe-energy is always there. It's so easy to just forget that. We actually have some help--we're not on our own! And not only is it free--it is freeing.

Then we must be able to RECOGNIZE "the energy flow". Acknowledge its existence. We are all made up of energy, so deep down we can identify with it. Remember the last time you were in a good space in your head--it probably was your identifying with the natural energy flow.

Thirdly, we must FEEL the flow. That feeling when we are at peace (no, I don't mean dead). And I don't mean deliriously happy either. It's just effortless living. Not vegetating though, but being!

Next we must TRUST the energy flow. The Universe-energy is always good. Our thoughts, however, are not always good. Let the Universe-energy take us where we need to go. Many times our thoughts will hold us back from it. How many times do we look back and say "Oh I had a feeling I should have done that".

And finally finish the cycle and LIVE on the energy flow. What a great feeling that is!

But then let's not kick ourselves when we forget! But start the cycle again.
